Matthew McConnell is an Attorney at Law and certified Player Agent by the Major League Baseball Players Association. Matthew attended Cornell University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Labor Relations and was a member of the nationally ranked Varsity Heavyweight Rowing Team. After graduating from Cornell in 2007, Matthew attended Southwestern Law School where he was a Dean’s List Scholar and the Sports’ Editor for the school’s newspaper. Matthew has been a licensed attorney in all courts of the state of California since 2010.
Matthew has worked in the baseball industry since 2006 and has advised several top draft picks, prepared and argued salary arbitration cases, negotiated Major League contracts and created marketing opportunities for his clients. Matthew is involved in all aspects of client representation, with a specialty in contractual matters and legal issues. Matthew and his wife, Mariana, reside in Dallas, Texas.
